Confidence

Confidence motivates young girls to try new things, build their self-worth, and communicate their needs to others.

LeadHERship

Through a depth of understanding of self, young girls are not afraid of being who they are no matter what they face.

Authenticity

When girls are comfortable with themselves, they accept who they are and accept others for who they are. Their needs are met because they advocate for them and can even support others in advocating.

Wellness

Young girls need to understand early the importance of taking care of their mind, body, soul, and spirit so they can provide nurturing to themselves, proactively, and reactively.

Confidence in Black Girlhood

100% of Black girls who experience any part of our programs report an increase in confidence, causing them to try new things, increase their in school engagements, learn about themselves, and navigate social groups in school.

Community Programming

Through community programming such as workshops, afterschool programs, and symposiums, we have helped over 60 black girls build community, increase their confidence, and made aware of their mental wellness.

Mentor Program

We have reached 12 girls from middle to high school through our dedicated 8-month mentoring program. Our initiative at Empowering Her Destiny aims to empower young Black girls by helping them discover their identity, passions, and potential, ensuring they have the support and guidance needed to thrive.
